The Division 52 Early Careers Professional Committee (see Committee Members) promotes the membership and contributions of ECP members to the Division, engages in advancing the career development and opportunities of early career psychologists in international psychology, and encourages the development of new leaders in the field of international psychology. The definition of an Early Career Psychologist is up to 10 years post-graduate status.

Here are ways you can join the ECP community:
- Learn about international opportunities! If you are an ECP in Division 52, please join these three listservs – DIV52, DIV52DISCUSS, DIV52ECP -- at http://listserve.apa.org/ and the Division 52 ECP Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ECP.Div52/.
- Get to know other members of Division 52! We recommend all ECPs participate in the Fast-Connect Project. It is a great way to meet members. Through this project a senior psychologist, an early career psychologist, and a student interview each other. Then, the interview is published on the Div52 Listserv. If you would like to participate in the project, please sign up here.
- Nominate an outstanding ECP or nominate yourself for the outstanding ECP award! Each year, the Division recognizes the work of two outstanding ECPs. Checkout https://div52.net/index.php/awards/outstanding-early-career-psychologist, to learn how to nominate an ECP!
- Publish your work! If you are Interested in writing and publishing, there are a many opportunities for writing and publishing through the ECP column in the International Psychology Bulletin, and the ECP webpage. ECP members are encouraged to submit their original work to the Division 52 journal, International Perspectives in Psychology: Research, Practice, Consultation.
