Vision of the Human Rights, Peace & Global Well-being group is to be a leading forum to facilitate and promote human rights, peace and global well-being under APA Division 52.

Mission of the Human Rights, Peace & Global Well-being group is to promote human rights, peace, enlightened globalization and well-being through networking with respect for diversity, equity, inclusion & justice under APA Division 52.

Aims and Objectives
Whereas, the international psychology aspires for mental health, peace and global well-being, the aims and objectives of the Human Rights, Peace & Global Well-being group are:
- To serve as a group within Division 52 that is focused on human rights, peace, and global well-being.
- To identify various communities’ local, regional, national and international conflicts and traumas hampering human rights, peace, human development, and well-being
- To develop projects, proposals, and multicultural research data base on communities’ local, regional, national and international human sufferings and strengths
- To involve various stakeholders including victims, multidisciplinary professionals, representatives & policy makers to facilitate human rights, rectify people’s sufferings, and promote mental health and well-being
- To invite diverse social scientists, professionals, leaders & policy makers to address issues of human rights, conflicts, traumas, and matters of global concern
- To organize meetings, seminars, and educational activities such as webinars under the umbrella of Division 52 to raise general awareness and create advocacy programs for global peace within and outside individuals and communities
- To involve print, electronic and social media; national, regional and international NGOs, including APA-relevant divisions, UN bodies and agencies for promotion of aims and objectives of the Group
- To encourage Division 52, raise financial resources, seek and extend grants for education, research, and the Group activities
- To devise, discuss, and suggest possible measures, education, and counseling strategies to protect and promote human rights, global peace, mental health, and well-being
- To develop a global mindset and framework alleviating men, women, and children’s sufferings and traumas, and advancing global peace and healthy human development and well-being
- To acknowledge, appreciate, and award the most influential personalities striving to educate, motivate, and resolve intergroup conflicts and traumas, and contributing to enlightened globalization, peace, mental health & well-being
- Any other plan and/or action that is in congruence with the aims and objectives and good intentions of the Group
