Dr. Ted Bartholomew is an Associate Professor of Psychology and affiliate of the Department of Africana Studies at Scripps College. He is currently the chair of the Department of Psychology and the Chair of Appointments, Promotions, & Tenure committee at Scripps College and a Fellow of Division 52. His scholarship addresses explanatory models of mental illness, cultural processes in psychotherapy, and research methods. He is a board member of the NGO, Kalahari People’s Fund, and conducts ongoing research in Namibia.
