Hanlie Van Wyk

Hanlie van Wyk is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and hate studies (University of South Africa) with a focus on organizations and leadership. She holds certifications in human rights and intercultural development with over three decades of experience across four continents. As a facilitator and consultant Hanlie specializes in implementing habit change strategies and leadership programs that drive organizational transformation. Her expertise extends to international psychology, as evidenced by her role as a representative for the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS) Response in Crisis.  Additionally, she serves as an EFPSA (European Federation of Psychology Students’ Associations) supervisor and project coordinator. Her early contribution to the Hate Crime Working Group resulted in new legislation. These roles showcase her ability to lead international teams, coordinate complex projects, and promote psychological education and research. Hanlie’s multi-disciplinary approach and cross-cultural understanding have been instrumental in advancing collaboration and innovation in diverse contexts.
