Description
The APA Division 52 Student Member APA Convention Registration Scholarship provides a scholarship for registration costs (only) to the annual APA Convention to student members of APA Division 52. This is a needs-based scholarship for students who otherwise would not be able to register for the Convention. The goal is to promote Division 52 student member access and engagement in the annual APA Convention and in the convention activities of APA Division 52.
Note: The scholarship will cover registration only for either the in-person cost or virtual cost, depending on the format of the Convention. Travel and accommodations are not covered by the scholarship.
Division 52 will offer up to five Student Member APA Convention Registration Scholarships each year for 2022, 2023 and 2024. Two registrations will be available to U.S. students, and three registrations will be available to international students studying in the U.S. or students studying outside of the U.S.
Eligibility
All applicants must be Division 52 student members. Students at any degree level are encouraged to apply.
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on an online application including the applicant’s biosketch (or biography) and responses to two questions about why the applicant wants to attend convention and how attending convention will further their professional development (answer format can be written, video, song, art, etc.).
Note: English proficiency is not a factor in determining scholarship recipients.
Deadline: June 1, 2023
