Criteria, Regulations and Procedures to obtain a License:
Masters degree in clinical psychology (5 years) for the provisional license, then 1 year of supervised practice through a professional internship after which the final license is obtained at the regional (state) level.
License is covered in Belgium/ Flanders, for all kinds of modalities; the license of clinical psychologist allows for the autonomous exercise of clinical psychology: prevention, screening, psycho-diagnostic, counseling and treatment of psychosomatic and mental suffering.
