Professional title for a Practicing Psychologist: In Indonesia, M.Psi, Psychologist (completed master program of clinical psychology, course work)
Criteria, Regulations and Procedures to obtain a License: Recently in Indonesia there are 2 licensing applications for a Clinical Psychologist. By default, after our graduation, from the university we will get the first 2 years license for graduated students (this license applies for industrial, developmental, social and clinical psychology, this one allows us to practice within the country. But then specifically for Clinical Psychologists, we need to register under the Ministry of Health at state level, and the city level to allow us practice in the city where we are staying). Master of Clinical Psychology (course work, not the science course), by default after we completed the exam for our Master’s Thesis and pass the exam under Indonesia Psychological Association, we will get our first license (2 years). After 2 years we should extend our license but must sit at the exam with some panelist. If we pass, we will get a 5 years license extension. This process applies every 5 years after the second extension.
Any Supplemental Resources regarding procedures for Licensure: N/A
Reciprocity of Licenses: Not sure, but I think we need to do a matriculation exam to get the certification or be eligible to practice in the country (Indonesia).
Temporary/Short-Term Licenses (which are often needed for psychologists doing humanitarian work in foreign countries): I don’t think they have it
