The awards recognize the contributions of undergraduate and graduate students in psychology throughout the world to advance human rights globally. This award has been established to encourage students to integrate human rights into the science, application and intervention models in our field.

Self-nominations are allowed.

Nominees must be student members of Division 52 or have applied for membership at the time of nomination.

Recognition of recipients occurs at the Division annual meeting at the APA Convention.
