Five Fields of Psychology: 1. Clinical Psychologist, 2. Counseling Psychologist, 3. Educational Psychologist, 4. Forensic Psychologist, 5. Industrial-Organizational Psychologist

Criteria, Regulations and Procedures to obtain a License:

  1. BSc in Psychology (recognised by the responsible national board in Cyprus) &
  2. A postgraduate degree in 1 of the 5 psychology fields recognised in Cyprus. The post-graduate degree should last at least 2 years (and be recognised by the responsible national board in Cyprus). It should also include 1000 practicum hours of which at least 500 hours are integral part of the curriculum. If there are remaining hours the candidate can apply for a supervised practicum in Cyprus in order to complete the 1000 hours.
